Biography: Ronak completed his MBBS in 2010 from Sardar Patel University in Gujarat, India. After which, he was accepted in a highly competitive program called Master in Medical Science and Technology (MMST) at The Indian Institute of Technology at Kharagpur, India. He completed this program in 2014 which included a year-long project at RIKEN in Japan. His work focused on Developmental Neuro-genetics. Ronak will be jointly conducting his PhD with Dr. James St John (Clem Jones Center for Neurobiology and Stem Cell Research) and Professor Vicky Avery (Discovery Biology). His work will focus on surgical aspects of spinal cord repair and regeneration to find a cure for Quadriplegia.
