The SLAS Student Poster Competition recognises innovative research by students, graduate students, post-doctoral associates and junior faculty (less than four years in first academic appointment) who present posters at SLAS2016. Congratulations to Dr Carrie Lovitt, one of only three, who received highest honours and received a $500 cash prize for her poster. To see Carrie’s poster click here. Congratulations to Thilini Perera who was awarded a Cancer Therapeutics CRC (CTx) Honours Affiliate Scholarship to attend the 28th Lorne Cancer Conference (11 –13 February 2016) which covers registration, accommodation, meals and travel to and from Lorne.

Congratulations to Grant Stuchbury on being awarded a CTx Travel Award to attend the European Cancer Congress 2015 in Vienna, Austria from 25-29th September. Congratulations also to Dr Tayner Rodriguez on being awarded a CTx Travel Award to attend the Oncology Drug Development in Practice Training Course being held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands from 25 – 27 November 2015.
