Biography: Sandra completed a BSc in Applied Biology from Manchester Metropolitan University, UK in 1998. Since graduating Sandra has worked in the area of biological research; 2 years in medical microbiology,  6 in diagnostics, 5 in the pharmaceutical sector and 16 in academia and academic not for profit collaborations (Discovery Biology). In October 2017, she commenced her study in the field of Malaria for attainment of a PhD by research.
