China Scholarship Council – Griffith University Joint Funding Program
The China Scholarship Council (CSC) and Griffith University (GU) have established the “China Scholarship Council – Griffith University Joint Funding Program”.
Scholarships for Chinese students wishing to undertake a PhD in Drug Discovery at Griffith University
- CSC and GU will jointly sponsor 30 selected students each year (subject to meeting candidate eligibility requirements). GU will provide scholarship support equivalent to the cost of full tuition for up to 48 months in GU as well as Overseas Students Health Cover for 42 months and will provide other economic support, e.g., through providing teaching assistant or research assistant positions to these students. CSC will provide successful applicants a living allowance as prescribed from time to time by the Chinese Government for up to 48 months, a return international airfare and visa application fees.
- Candidates apply to GU directly through the normal procedure but must specify that they are applying through the “China Scholarship Council -Griffith University Joint Funding Program”.
- GU criteria entry to PhD will be conditional on academic performance and English language proficiency.
- Students wishing to apply please indicate their interest by November 10th 2014. Successful candidates are expected to return to China upon completion of their studies.
