Discovery Biology has been awarded $300,000 by not-for-profit Swiss foundation Medicines 
for Malaria Venture (MMV), to continue its focus on identifying new compounds active against the malaria parasite. In particular, the research is focussed on the sexual stage of the life cycle, the gametocytes.
